A few weeks ago, Paul finally had a chance to climb Mount Damota.  Damota is a mountain that we see every day as we walk out the door.  It is beautiful and stays green most of the year, even though many other parts of the country turn brown from the lack of rain.  Damota is resilient and the peak sits about 3000 feet above Soddo town.

While we were climbing up the mountain, (me for my 10th time and Paul for his first), he commented that our lives in Soddo have been very different.  The nine other times I have climbed the mountain he has been working at the hospital, managing the responsibilities that come with training surgery residents, treating patients and administrating.  We were very thankful for the time we could have to get out of the city and take peaceful, yet vigorous hike.

And since our lives have been so different, I figured I would show a little tour of daily snipits of life.  A few months ago, Paul gave you a tour through his photo album, and now I will do the same.
