New buildings needed
The hospital was recently visited by a team from Engineering Ministries International (EMI) and a plan for future develpment of the hospital was produced. Please see the site drawing below. There are many buildings on there that will take a lot of time, money and work to build but we wanted to mention a few of the most needed areas. First, we have to shore up basic facilities. At least one more well needs to be dug for water supply. This will be around $25,000 USD. Praise God, we are now preparing to install a new electrical generator that God has provided.
Once these are in place, the next two buildings of greatest importance need focus. The first is a new Outpatient Department for expanding our outpatient care, laboratory and x-ray services and clinic facilities. The second is a housing building for the PAACS residents. This will allow the residents to live on campus and eliminate the current challenges of safety, finances and night duty. There are many other projects included in these plans but these are the two most urgent.

Master plan for the hospital. The upper right building is the new Outpatient Department. The multilevel building two to the left of the new Outpatient Department is the planned PAACS resident housing.
