This may not be helpful, but have you looked at Matthew 18:15-17 as a possible inspiration/guide for dealing with the conflict resolution in a constructive way? I don’t know if it would help in this scenario, but you can at least lean on it as Christ given instruction for such.

Hi! My name is Matthew (MSIII at University of Maryland) and I just got approved to come to Soddo with my wife for a 1-month rotation next July. I’ve been reading your blog for a little while now and really found your writing to be thought-provoking. My experience with cross-cultural ministry was always easier when I was just a clueless American and local leaders were totally in charge– though cross-cultural misunderstandings and conflicts were still constantly coming up, it seemed. We’ll be praying for you as you navigate these issues.

I love this picture Becca! I love taking pics with Evie – the whole mother/daughter thing is really a different dynamic than what I have with Malachi – it’s so much better than I had hoped

3 months already! She is adorable! It’s amazing how siblings (or maybe it’s more a boy/girl thing) can be so different. I was looking over Johnny’s 12 mth questionnaire from the doctor and realizing that Johnny’s strengths and weaknesses are the exact opposite of Miranda’s at that age.

I don’t know which blog posts I like better, yours of Becca’s:) I do like the balance and combination of the two. One comment -how come Ol Blue is a girl? looks more like a mischievous and unpredictable boy to me!
