A month of so before Christmas, we had been reading a bunch of Christmas stories which of course all have pictures of snow men and lots of kids with mittens on playing in snow. So one day at lunch, Nathan said, “Dear God, I want it to snow here for Christmas” And then he turned his head and spoke one word under his breath, “Yes!”
“God said yes, mommy!!! Did you hear him? He said yes!”
So what would any mother who lived in Ethiopia do?…defrost the freezer and give the boy some snow to play with.
He played outside with the “snow” all afternoon.

I LOVE this testimony ~ for both you and Nathan – and of course, our ever faithful God who listens to us when we pray even the most outrageous things:). Tell Nathan he will see snow one day, who knows where?

I thought only doctors played God – lol! You are a good mom, Becca. What a sweet thing to do for your son. Those Christmas stories involving snow bother me too down here in Florida.
